Entrepreneurship Training
Becoming an Entrepreneur is a lifelong journey. The learning never ends.
Fortunately, the internet is a google search away from what we need to know and learn to become an entrepreneur. On Instagram, I follow “entrepreneurshipquote” and find this site to be a great place to pick up great encouraging nuggets for my entrepreneurial journey. I highly recommend that you follow this site.
Entrepreneurs are far from average people. They are people who are motivated and usually are hard workers who never settle for mediocrity. Here are a few thoughts on some habits that are common among entrepreneurs.
1. They get deep into work by:
- Blocking off scheduled work hours
- Focusing on one thing
- Removing all distractions
2. They optimize their time
- Time is your most powerful asset
- Optimize the time you need to create systems to save it by:
- Delegating unimportant tasks
- Automating emails
- Creating time slots to focus on one particular task
- Maintaining strict daily routines
3. They look at things with a Problem Solving Mindset
- Instead of focussing on the negatives, ask yourself:
- What am I in control of
- What can I do better
- How can I improve things
- Employing a problem-solving mindset will help you move past roadblocks much faster
4. They are resourceful
- Ignorance is now a choice with the help of the internet
-Need an answer? Google It
-Got a Question? DM someone for an answer
-Need to know how to do something? YouTube it
All these solutions are at your fingertips…
5. They create a High-Value Network
- Solve problems together as a group rather than on your own
- Adopt the traits, habits, and mindsets of those around you but be careful who you follow
- Reduce time with people who hold you back (this is often your own family)
- Increase time with those who can pull you forward
6. They take care of themselves
- Seek out a balance of work and proper rest - too much of either one is not good
- Too much work and not enough rest lead to burnout, mediocrity, and regret
- Take care of your body with exercise
- Take care of your mind with sleep
- Take care of your spirit with meditation
7. They read quality books
- Books have a high Return on Time and Investment
- You get decades of knowledge condensed into hours of reading
- The time, money, and mistakes you save yourself reading are well worth the investment of time and money for books
- Make reading a daily habit, and you will get yearly returns
I would love to hear your ideas on some of your Entrepreneurial Habits for success.
