“The Power of Financial Education”

A quote from Robert Kiyosaki’s bestseller Rich Dad Poor Dad

“Money is one form of power. But what is more powerful is financial education. Money comes and goes, but if you have the education about how money works, you gain power over it and can begin building wealth. The reason positive thinking alone does not work is that most people went to school and never learned how money works, so they spend their lives working for money”

This has been true for me over the past 6 months. I am an early riser in the morning. I start my day at 5:45 am and focus on five things.

1. Spending time with God reading the bible … I have enjoyed reading through the bible in one year with the ALPHA program

2. Spending some time focusing on gratitude and the things and people in my life I have been blessed with

3. Exercise … minimum 175 calories burned and 2.25 KM travelled in 30 minutes on the elliptical machine

4. Mind feeding … I read financial IQ books for about 60 minutes every morning

5. Strategizing …. I spend some time just sitting quietly and think through a strategy for my business, my relationships and what I want to accomplish that particular day

I encourage each one of you to start your day with something similar to the above … it’s amazing what results you can achieve in a very short time when you allow yourself to get into this type of routine.
